Four high school students from Spark Academy won both Gold and Silver medals in the NH SKILLS USA Mobile Robotics Competition held earlier this year at Manchester Community College (MCC).

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. They serve middle-school, high-school and college/postsecondary students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. State and National competitions are held in divisions that include Robotics & Automation, Architectural Drafting, Automotive, Firefighting, Welding, Restaurant Service, Cosmetology, and more.

The winning teams were each made up of two students from Spark Academy, a chartered public high school located on the campus of MCC.

Enrollment is open for the 2022-23 school year and Spark is looking to add to their list of future-facing female students to enter into the world of Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics. Visit for more information.
